Rada by som sa predstavila. Volám sa Simona Poláková a mám 31 rokov.

Keď som mala 8 rokov, mala som ťažkú autonehodu, po ktorej som sa musela od začiatku učiť chodiť aj rozprávať. Preletela som cez zadné sklo auta, mala som krvácanie do komôr lebky. Bol to dlhý a náročný boj, ale postupne som ho zvládla. Keď som ho dobojovala, pohyb sa stal mojou súčasťou života. Začala som plávať, neskôr som sa venovala triatlonu, tenisu, volejbalu až po Spartan race– robila som všetko, čo mi umožňovalo byť v pohybe. Pohyb bol pre mňa všetkým.

V roku 2024 som sa vydala za svojho milovaného muža. Dva mesiace po svadbe som však utrpela úraz hlavy, po ktorom sa mi život opäť úplne zmenil.

Rozbila som si ju na strane, ktorá bola v detstve po autohavárii operovaná. Namiesto spoločných Vianoc s novomanželom doma som ich strávila v nemocnici. A domov som sa vracala s diagnózou hemiparéza ku ktorej sa neskôr pridala aj ataxia.

Milovala som šport, mala som plány a ciele.

Chcela som zabehnúť polmaratón a na Spartan race odbehnúť kategóriu Super (10km a 25 prekážok). Dnes je všetko iné.  Chôdza je pre mňa veľmi náročná a v bežnom živote som odkázaná na invalidný vozík. Aj tie najobyčajnejšie veci ma stoja veľa síl.

Môj manžel je človek s veľkým srdcom.

Okrem toho, že skvelo varí a robí to, čo ja doma nezvládnem. Takisto je pri mne a povzbudzuje ma. Som rada, že mi ho Pán Boh poslal do cesty.

Absolvujem aj intenzívne rehabilitácie, ktoré mi pomáhajú bojovať o návrat späť. Viem, že bez pohybu svaly slabnú – a ja sa nechcem vzdať.

Na čo konkrétne budú peniaze z tejto kampane použité?

Nedávno som mala možnosť vyskúšať špeciálnu trojkolku Azub.

Model, ktorý je pre moje vhodný pre môj zdravotný stav, stojí 7 600 €.

Dodal mi stabilitu, istotu a zároveň mi umožnil aktívne zapájať nohy. Bol to pre mňa pocit slobody, ktorý som už dlho nezažila.

I would like to introduce myself. My name is Simona Poláková and I am 31 years old.

When I was 8 years old, I had a serious car accident, after which I had to learn to walk and talk from scratch. I flew through the rear window of the car, I had bleeding into the ventricles of my skull. It was a long and difficult battle, but I gradually managed it. When I finished it, movement became a part of my life. I started swimming, later I did triathlon, tennis, volleyball and even the Spartan race – I did everything that allowed me to be in motion. Movement was everything to me.

In 2024, I married my beloved man. However, two months after the wedding.

I suffered a head injury, after which my life completely changed again.

I suffered a head injury when I hit my head on the corner of a cabinet. I broke it on the side that had been operated on in a car accident when I was a child. Instead of spending Christmas with my new husband at home, I spent it in the hospital. And I returned home with a diagnosis of hemiparesis, which was later joined by ataxia.

I loved sports, I had plans and goals.

I wanted to run a half marathon and compete in the Super category (10km and 25 obstacles) at the Spartan race. Today, everything is different. Walking is very difficult for me and in everyday life I am dependent on a wheelchair. Even the most ordinary things cost me a lot of strength.

My husband is a man with a big heart.

In addition to being a great cook and doing what I can't do at home, he is also there for me and encourages me. I am glad that God sent him my way. I am also undergoing intensive rehabilitation, which helps me fight to get back on my feet. I know that without exercise, my muscles weaken – and I don't want to give up.

What exactly will the money from this campaign be used for?

I recently had the opportunity to try out the special Azub tricycle.

The model that is suitable for my health condition costs €7,600. It gave me stability, confidence and at the same time allowed me to actively engage my legs. It was a feeling of freedom for me that I haven't experienced in a long time. Thank you very much for your help.

Milestone 1 – €3,000
This amount is needed to start production of the special tricycle. Without it, the order cannot be launched.

Milestone 2 – €7,600
The second part of the amount is intended for the final payment of the tricycle after its completion. Only after the full amount is paid will I be able to use it to its full potential.
