Magic Garden po rokoch intenzívneho úsilia a vlastného financovania prvýkrát otvorilo svoje priestory verejnosti ako múzeum a priestor výnimočných kultúrných aktivít. Toto magické miesto, ktoré dýcha históriou a umením, sa tak stalo prístupným nielen pre obdivovateľov tvorby rodiny Rudavských, ale aj pre širokú verejnosť, ktorá hľadá inšpiráciu a spojenie s kultúrou. V dnešnej dobe je totižto kultúrny odkaz a umenie snáď jediným autentickým a trvácnym elementom v našich životoch.

Dnes sa však Magic Garden nachádza na križovatke. Aby sme mohli tento unikátny priestor ešte viac sprístupniť návštevníkom, rozšíriť jeho možnosti pre mladých umelcov a zachovať bohaté umelecké dedičstvo, ktoré tu vznikalo po celé desaťročia, potrebujeme vašu pomoc. 

Toto magické miesto vzniklo v 60. rokoch minulého storočia na okraji Bratislavy v mestskej časti Podunajské Biskupice, z talentu a vášne pre umenie Andreja a Márie Rudavských, ktorí patrili k jedným z najvýraznejších osobností výtvarného umenia svojej generácie.

V Magic Garden sa stretávali legendy výtvarného umenia zo skupiny Galandovcov, ale aj osobnosti z iných umeleckých žánrov, herci, režiséri, spisovatelia, hudobníci. Aj napriek nevôli komunistického režimu sa záhrada rozrastala a Genius loci ju nikdy neopustil.

Dnes je tento priestor domovom viac ako 300 umeleckých diel – sôch, obrazov, textilných a multimediálnych objektov. Tieto diela sú odkazom Andreja a Márie Rudavských, no zároveň sú živým priestorom pre novú generáciu umelcov. Po návrate ich syna, multimediálny umelec Ondreja Rudavského, dostala Magic Garden nový život. Spolu s manželkou Jacqueline a dcérou Terezou pokračujú v zveľaďovaní tohto unikátneho miesta.

Sme občianske združenie zamerané na podporu kultúry a umenia. Naša činnosť je výlučne nekomerčná, a preto pri napĺňaní našich cieľov závisíme na verejných finančných prostriedkoch. Tento rok sa o ich získanie pokúšame po prvýkrát od založenia nášho združenia. Ich dostupnosť však nie je vždy zaručená a súčasná doba, v ktorej sa nachádzame, tento proces ešte viac komplikuje.

Vaša podpora je pre nás nesmierne cenná. Každý príspevok, ktorý nám venujete, nám pomôže pokračovať v našej misii – zachovať, rozvíjať a rozširovať úžasný priestor Magic Garden. Tu je prehľad toho, ako plánujeme použiť vaše príspevky:

1. Podpora umeleckých aktivít:

Vaša podpora nám pomôže zabezpečiť financovanie Magic Garden Festivalu 2025 a ďalších podujatí, ktoré prepájajú generácie umelcov. Snažíme sa neustále rozširovať naše celoročné aktivity a posúvať hranice toho, čo sme už dosiahli.
Našou víziou je organizovať aktivity, ktoré budú podporovať a inšpirovať umelcov, a zároveň rozvíjať priestor, ktorý sme s veľkým úsilím vytvorili. Medzi naše plánované aktivity patria:

• Medziodborové vernisáže a koncerty: Podujatia, ktoré prepájajú rôzne umelecké žánre a ponúkajú jedinečný zážitok pre divákov.
• Premietania: Prezentácie filmových a multimediálnych diel spojené s diskusiami s tvorcami.
• Diskusie: Stretnutia s výtvarníkmi, hudobníkmi, či režisérmi na rôzne témy súvisiace s umením a jeho budúcnosťou.
• Workshopy: Interaktívne dielne pre umelcov všetkých generácií na rozvoj ich talentu a zdieľanie skúseností.

2. Rekonštrukcia a rozvoj galérie:

Plánujeme rozsiahle úpravy, aby sme zvýšili komfort návštevníkov a zabezpečili lepšie podmienky pre vystavovanie umeleckých diel. Medzi hlavné zámery patrí: 

• Informačný systém: Podrobnejší informačný systém je dlhodobým cieľom, ktorý chceme už dlhšiu dobu implementovať do galérie. Jeho vytvorenie si však vyžaduje značné technické úsilie, čas a finančné prostriedky. Plánujeme zavedenie informačného systému, ktorý návštevníkom poskytne komplexné a podrobné informácie o vystavovaných dielach, ich autoroch a histórii. Systém bude zahŕňať detailné informácie o jednotlivých dielach, ich histórii a autoroch. Systém bude zahŕňať digitálne panely, QR kódy s odkazmi na multimediálne obsahové prvky (napr. audioguidy či videá), ako aj tlačené brožúry pre klasických návštevníkov. Tento systém zvýši ich vzdelávací dosah.

• Prezentácia diel: Inštalácia moderného osvetlenia a nové podstavce pod umelecké diela, ktoré umožnia zvýrazniť detaily a atmosféru vystavených diel.

• Výmena okien v múzejnej časti expozície Andreja Rudavského Realizácia zahŕňa kompletnú výmenu okien v múzejnej časti expozície venovanej Andrejovi Rudavskému. Nové okná zabezpečia lepšiu izoláciu, ochranu vystavovaných diel pred vonkajšími vplyvmi a prispejú k estetickému zlepšeniu priestoru.

• Vybudovanie posuvnej steny v múzejnej časti expozície Andreja Rudavského : V rámci zlepšenia priestorovej flexibility a prezentácie vystavovaných diel plánujeme inštaláciu modernej posuvnej steny v múzejnej časti expozície Andreja Rudavského. Táto stena zabezpečí efektívnejšiu organizáciu výstavného priestoru, väčšiu plochu na inštalovanie diel, jednoduchšiu manipuláciu a možnosť diskrétne zakryť nevyužívané časti priestoru.

3. Ochrana umeleckého dedičstva:

Naším záväzkom je starostlivosť o viac ako 300 unikátnych umeleckých diel, ktoré tvoria srdce Magic Garden. Tieto diela, zahŕňajúce sochy, obrazy, textilné objekty a multimediálne inštalácie, predstavujú významnú súčasť slovenského kultúrneho dedičstva. Plánované aktivity zahŕňajú:

• Reštaurovanie diel: Odborná obnova a konzervácia, ktorá zabezpečí ich zachovanie pre budúce generácie.
• Pravidelná údržba: Ochrana diel pred vplyvmi prostredia, ako sú poveternostné podmienky, ich pravidelné čistenie a oprava, ako aj celková údržba zelene a priestoru, v ktorom sú diela umiestnené.

Dnes Rudavsky’s Magic Garden funguje ako rodinný projekt, ktorý sa snaží naplniť sen, o ktorom Andrej a Mária snívali počas celého svojho života – otvoriť tieto priestory pre verejnosť, inšpirovať ďalšie generácie umelcov a udržiavať ich umelecké dedičstvo živé.

Ondrej, Jacqueline a Tereza vynakladajú obrovské úsilie, vášeň a lásku na to, aby tento kultúrny priestor rástol a rozvíjal sa ako domov umenia a inšpirácie pre všetkých návštevníkov. Rudavsky’s Magic Garden je miestom, kde sa história stretáva so súčasnosťou, umenie sa stáva mostom medzi generáciami a vášeň pre tvorbu spája komunity.

Sme umelci s víziou
Naším cieľom je transformovať tento priestor na domov pre umelcov a milovníkov umenia, podobne ako je aj pre nás – miesto, ktoré sme vždy ako umelci snívali mať, a ktoré chceme teraz otvoriť aj pre ostatných.

Tento sen Andreja a Márie Rudavských teraz pokračuje v našich rukách. S veľkým úsilím, láskou a vášňou sa snažíme zachovávať ich odkaz, rozvíjať tento priestor a vytvárať jedinečné miesto, kde umenie ožíva, spája generácie a inšpiruje tvorivosť.

The Journey of Magic Garden: A Crossroads of the Past and Our Future

<sub>After years of intense effort and self-funding, Magic Garden has, for the first time, opened its doors to the public as a museum and a space for unparalleled cultural activities. This magical place, rich in history and art, has become accessible not only to admirers of the Rudavský family’s work but also to a wider public seeking inspiration and a connection to culture. In today’s world, cultural heritage and art remain perhaps the only authentic and enduring elements in our lives.

However, Magic Garden now stands at a crossroad. To make this unique space even more accessible to visitors, expand its opportunities for young artists, and preserve the rich artistic heritage that has been cultivated here for decades, we need your help.</sub>

<sub>This magical place was created in the 1960s on the outskirts of Bratislava, in the Podunajské Biskupice district, born from the talent and passion for art of Andrej and Mária Rudavský, who were among the most prominent figures in the visual arts of their generation.

These pieces stand as a legacy of Andrej and Mária Rudavský, while also serving as a vibrant space for a new generation of artists. Following the return of their son, multimedia artist Ondrej Rudavský, the Magic Garden has been given new life. Together with his wife Jacqueline and daughter Tereza, they continue to nurture and enrich this unique place.}

Our activities are purely non-profit, and the realization of our future objectives relies on external financial assistance. This year is the first time since our founding that we are actively seeking this kind of support. However, access to these resources is not guaranteed, and the current cultural climate makes the process even more challenging.}
