Help us create a safer dancefloor for women, queer people, and the entire community. 💖
For a long time, I've noticed an issue that many people within the Slovak rave scene are familiar with.
Dancefloors are often overwhelmingly male-dominated, and many women, queer, and non-binary people simply don't feel safe or comfortable enough to fully enjoy the experience.
And honestly? I don't blame them.
That's why HOT GIRLS HATE SITTING was born.
This isn't just another event.
It's an attempt to create a space where we can feel free, safe, and truly ourselves. A place where dancing matters more than ego, and community matters more than status.
On July 4th, 2026, a community of local DJs, artists, women, queer people, and allies will gather near Apollo Bridge in Bratislava to celebrate the idea that rave culture can be more open, safer, and kinder.
The event will feature:
✨ Professional medical assistance on site
✨ An awareness & safeguarding team
✨ A solar-powered sound system by Solar Speakers
✨ Local DJs donating their time and talent to support the community
And yes…
I'm also symbolically connecting this project with my birthday.
Not as a celebration of myself, but as a celebration of life, music, friendship, and the community we're building together.
If you believe that women and queer people deserve more space on the dancefloor, I'd be deeply grateful for your support. 💖
I truly believe that the most beautiful things happen when people share their time, energy, and talents with one another—supporting each other and creating something bigger than any of us could build alone.
Give. Receive. Repeat.
Who's behind the campaign?
Hi, I'm Kristína, although most people know me as KRIYA. 💖
I'm a DJ, tattoo artist, and creative based in Bratislava. I started my DJ journey in 2024 and since then I've had the opportunity to play regularly across Slovakia as well as in Vienna and Prague.
Outside of music, I love nature, hiking, traveling, and building projects that bring people together. I strongly believe that electronic music and rave culture have the power to create genuine communities and safe spaces where people can truly be themselves.
HOT GIRLS HATE SITTING is the biggest project I've organized on my own so far. From communicating with the city and venue partners, through production, fundraising, and logistics, to building the lineup and the overall vision—this event is truly a labor of love.
None of this would be possible without the incredible people around me who decided to contribute their time, energy, and talent simply because they believe in the idea and want to help create something meaningful for our community.
Thank you for being part of this journey. 💖
What will the funds be used for?
Every euro raised through this campaign will go directly towards organizing the daytime part of HOT GIRLS HATE SITTING.
My goal is to create a safe, high-quality, and accessible open-air space for the community—with a special focus on women, queer people, and everyone who wants to dance freely and feel welcome.
Our estimated budget is as follows:
☀️ Solar Speakers – €650
An eco-friendly, solar-powered sound system. Together, we'll create a unique open-air experience without generators or fossil fuels—we'll literally be dancing on sunshine.
🚑 Medical assistance – €290
A professional emergency medical team with an ambulance on site throughout the event.
🎛️ DJ equipment – €250
Rental of 3× CDJ-3000 players and a professional mixer, ensuring all artists can perform on high-quality equipment.
🫶 Professional SafeCrew team – €300
A trained safeguarding team dedicated to creating a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for everyone attending the event.
🎥 Photo & video documentation – €150
To capture the atmosphere of the event and help us continue building future community-driven projects.
✨ Decorations & visual elements – €150
Simple installations and creative details that will help shape a warm and memorable atmosphere.
🍉 Artist & crew hospitality – €100
Water, fruit, snacks, and basic necessities for the people generously donating their time and energy to the project.
📋 Contingency fund – €110
Every open-air event comes with unexpected expenses, and this reserve will help us respond to them responsibly.
🎧 DJs – €0
Local artists have chosen to support the project voluntarily, contributing their sets and talents because they believe in the values and vision behind HOT GIRLS HATE SITTING.
If we manage to exceed our fundraising goal, the additional resources will be invested into further safety measures, better event documentation, and future community initiatives that I hope to develop under the ZORA project.
Thank you for helping us create something new. 💖
