Rusko cielene útočí na energetickú a tepelnú infraštruktúru Ukrajiny práve v zime. Nie náhodou. Pri teplotách až –20 °C znamená výpadok elektriny okamžitú hrozbu pre život. Táto výzva vznikla ako priama odpoveď na energetický teror, ktorý necháva celé mestá bez svetla, tepla a vody.

Ukrajinskí energetici pracujú nepretržite, často pod paľbou, aby obnovili to, čo je znovu a znovu ničené. Len počas roka 2025 Rusko použilo proti Ukrajine približne 2 000 rakiet a viac než 54 000 dronov, pričom veľká časť útokov mierila práve na energetiku. Nepriateľ sa vracia na tie isté miesta – opravy sa menia na nekonečný boj.

Zbierku realizuje Veľvyslanectvo Ukrajiny v Slovenskej republike v spolupráci s partnerskými organizáciami občianskeho sektora Neinvestičný fond Donio, Nadácia Integra, Post Bellum SK, Mier Ukrajine, Človek v ohrození, Nadácia Pontis, All4Ukraine, Ambrela, Adra, Srdcom s Ukrajinou a Nadácia otvorenej spoločnosti.
Spoločne reagujeme tam, kde ide doslova o prežitie – rýchlo, cielene a v spolupráci s miestnymi samosprávami.

Predstavte si, že elektrinu môžete mať dostupnú len niekoľko hodín denne, a to v tom lepšom prípade. A žijete v byte, v ktorom teplota klesne na 5 °C. Vonku je hlboký mráz. Dnu tma. Ticho.
Pre bežného človeka to znamená nemožnosť uvariť jedlo na sporáku alebo jednoducho vykúriť byt či nabiť si telefón. O teple pre deti, chorých a seniorov nehovoriac.
Pre tisíce rodín na Ukrajine je to dnes každodenná realita.

Energetický deficit je kritický. Ukrajina potrebuje približne 18 GW, no dokáže vyrobiť len 6,4 GW. Najznepokojujúcejšie je, že Ukrajina sa priblížila k hranici svojich technických možností – zásoby náhradného vybavenia sú vyčerpané.
V skladoch už nie sú náhradné transformátory, ktoré by bolo možné použiť namiesto zničených. Každý ďalší zásah môže byť fatálny, pretože ho jednoducho nebude čím opraviť.

Začiatkom januára zostalo len v Dnipropetrovskej oblasti bez elektriny viac než 1 milión ľudí. Následne prišlo 35 % Kyjeva o prúd – a spolu s ním o teplo a vodu.
V súčasnosti je hrozbou úplného výpadku elektriny ohrozená celá ľavobrežná Ukrajina – približne 15 miliónov ľudí, ktorých životy závisia od toho, či sa podarí potrebné vybavenie zabezpečiť a dopraviť už teraz.
Tma a chlad tu nie sú vedľajším efektom vojny.
Sú jej cieľom.

Na nákup generátorov chceme získať 500 000 eur aj vďaka ľuďom ako ste vy. Dokážu okamžite pomôcť tam, kde je situácia najkritickejšia.

Pomoc smerujeme do najviac zasiahnutých oblastí – Kyjev, Záporožie, Dnipro, Černihiv, Sumy a Sumskú oblasť – vždy podľa aktuálnych potrieb v spolupráci s regionálnymi a miestnymi samosprávami.

• podporu nemocníc, škôl, krízových centier a verejných služieb,
• vytvorenie základného energetického zázemia pre mestá a obce počas výpadkov,
• dopravu generátorov na Ukrajinu.

Russia is deliberately attacking Ukraine's energy and heating infrastructure in winter. This is no coincidence. With temperatures as low as –20 °C, a power outage poses an immediate threat to life. This appeal was created as a direct response to energy terrorism, which leaves entire cities without light, heat and water.

Ukrainian energy workers are working around the clock, often under fire, to restore what is being destroyed again and again. In 2025 alone, Russia used approximately 2,000 missiles and more than 54,000 drones against Ukraine, with a large part of the attacks targeting the energy sector. The enemy returns to the same places – repairs turn into an endless struggle.

The collection is being organised by the Embassy of Ukraine in the Slovak Republic in cooperation with partner organisations from the civil sector: the Donio Non-Investment Fund, the Integra Foundation, Post Bellum SK, Peace for Ukraine, People in Peril, the Pontis Foundation, All4Ukraine, Ambrela, Adra, Heart with Ukraine and the Open Society Foundation.

When it`s 5 degrees at home and minus 20 outside

Imagine that you only have access to electricity for a few hours a day, and that's in the best-case scenario. And you live in a flat where the temperature drops to 5 °C. Outside, it's freezing. Inside, it's dark. Silent.
For the average person, this means not being able to cook food on the stove, heat their flat or charge their phone. Not to mention keeping children, the sick and the elderly warm.
For thousands of families in Ukraine, this is their daily reality today.

The energy deficit is critical. Ukraine needs approximately 18 GW, but can only produce 6.4 GW. Most worryingly, Ukraine has reached the limits of its technical capabilities – stocks of replacement equipment are exhausted. There are no more spare transformers in storage that could be used to replace the destroyed ones. Any further intervention could be fatal, as there will simply be nothing to repair it with.

At the beginning of January, more than 1 million people were left without electricity in the Dnipropetrovsk region alone. Subsequently, 35% of Kyiv lost power – and with it, heat and water.
Currently, the entire left bank of Ukraine is threatened by a complete power outage – approximately 15 million people whose lives depend on whether the necessary equipment can be secured and delivered now.
Darkness and cold are not side effects of war here.
They are its goal.
