O.Z. SPOSA BB is an organization that helps individuals with autism and other special needs people in Banská Bystrica, Slovakia. In our outpatient facilities, we conduct activities and exercises that develop the abilities and skills of individuals. We also provide field services, creating opportunities for practicing self-care activities, socialization activities, and actively engaging our members in community life.
Those who know us understand that we care deeply about providing thorough and safe care for individuals with special needs. Our work is meaningful and helps advance our members. To date, our activities have successfully helped a significant number of people, and we believe we will continue to do so successfully in the future.

O.Z. SPOSA BB je spoločnosť na pomoc osobám s autizmom a iným znevýhodnením v Banskej Bystrici. V našich ambulantných priestoroch vykonávame aktivity a činnosti rozvíjajúce schopnosti a zručnosti osôb nielen s autizmom. Taktiež poskytujeme terénne
služby, kde vytvárame možnosť nácviku samoobslužných činností, socializačných aktivít a aktívne zapájame našich členov do spoločenského života.
Kto nás pozná, vie, že nám záleží na dôkladnej a bezpečnej starostlivosti o osoby s týmto znevýhodnením. Naša práca má zmysel a posúva našich členov vpred. Do dnešných dní sme svojimi aktivitami dokázali pomôcť nemalému množstvu ľudí a veríme, že v tom budeme úspešne pokračovať aj naďalej.
Prečo vznikla táto výzva a čo plánujeme na leto 2024?

After the success of organizing summer camps in previous years, we have decided to continue this year and prepare two summer camps: a day camp and a residential camp for children and adults with ASD and other special needs. Social integration and the connection of special needs people with college students bring enrichment to the lives of all participants. We want everyone to have the opportunity to experience a summer full of adventures and to have the support they need to safely spend time engaging in activities that teach them new skills and help them advance not only in their personal but also in their social lives.
Both summer camps will be full of activities focused on the development and inclusion of children and adults with special needs. Thanks to our professional team and volunteers, we can create a safe environment where they can play, learn, and build friendships together. At the same time, we create opportunities for college students of health and social sciences to gain valuable experience working with special needs people.

Safe and Reliable Transportation: The contributions will ensure safe and reliable transportation for the children and adults with special needs to and from the summer camp, guaranteeing their safety and convenience.

Quality Accommodation: Your support enables us to rent two great cottages for such a event, providing quality accommodation for the children and adults with special needs and ensuring their comfort during their stay.

Supporting Volunteers: We also want to support our great volunteers by reimbursing their expenses and showing our gratitude for their invaluable work.
By supporting our cause, you will help us create a safe, enriching, and memorable camp experience for children and adults with special needs. If we manage to obtain sufficient financial support, we will be able to reduce the cost of the summer camps by up to 100 euros, thereby easing the financial burden on families with children with disabilities.

SLOVENSKÁ VERZIA
Po úspechu v organizovaní denných táborov v minulých rokoch sme sa aj tento rok rozhodli pokračovať a pripraviť dva tábory: denný a pobytový tábor pre deti s PAS a iným znevýhodnením. Sociálna integrácia a prepojenie znevýhodnených detí so študentami
prináša obohatenie do života všetkým zúčastneným. Chceme, aby všetci mali možnosť zažiť leto plné zážitkov a aby mali podporu, ktorú potrebujú na bezpečné strávenie času pri aktivitách, ktoré ich učia novým zručnostiam a pomáhajú im napredovať nielen v osobnom,
ale aj v spoločenskom živote.
Oba tábory budú plné aktivít zameraných na rozvoj a inklúziu detí s autizmom a inými zdravotnými obmedzeniami. Vďaka nášmu odbornému tímu a dobrovoľníkom dokážeme vytvoriť bezpečné prostredie, kde sa deti môžu spoločne hrať, učiť a budovať priateľstvá. Zároveň vytvárame príležitosti pre študentov zdravotných a sociálnych vied získať cenné skúsenosti prácou so znevýhodnenými deťmi.
