Odpočívaj v pokoji, Norbi
Noro je náš kolega a kamarát, má 34 rokov, je ženatý, doma má manželku Vierku a dve malé deti, 12-ročného Adama a 3-ročnú Noemi.
Koncom minulého roka mu bola diagnostikovaná mimoriadne zákerná forma rakoviny pankreasu. Podstúpil operáciu, pri ktorej mu odstránili časť pankreasu, a následnú agresívnu onkologickú liečbu. Po krátkom období, keď sa zdalo, že sa jeho stav trochu zlepšuje, sa, žiaľ, objavili nálezy v brušnej dutine, ktorých operácia nateraz nie je možná.
Slovenským lekárom pri liečbe Norovej rakoviny postupne dochádzajú možnosti, a preto mu odporúčajú zahraničnú experimentálnu liečbu pozostávajúcu z výroby lieku z jeho vlastného biologického materiálu. Liečba je však finančne nákladná a slovenské zdravotné poisťovne ju neuhrádzajú.
Táto terapia by mohla Norbertovi skvalitniť život, aby mohol tráviť čas doma so svojou rodinkou a viesť čo najdlhší a čo najnormálnejší život mladého človeka.
Získané finančné prostriedky budú použité na zaplatenie experimentálnej liečby, ktorej počiatočná fáza stojí 8.000 Eur a potom každý mesiac 6.000 Eur. Ak by sa podarila získať celá cieľová suma, alebo ak by sa z nejakého dôvodu nemohlo v tejto liečbe pokračovať, zvyšné peniažky pomôžu mladej rodine fungovať a platiť všetky ostatné výdavky, ako sú náklady na bývanie, splácanie hypotéky, špeciálna strava pre Norberta aj pre Noemi, ktorá má intolerancie na rôzne potraviny, lieky a náklady na pravidelné dochádzanie do nemocnice a veľa ďalších výdavkov spojených s Norovou liečbou.
Keďže Noro je dlhodobo práceneschopný a manželka Vierka je na rodičovskej dovolenke, finančne im pomáhajú najmä jeho rodičia, pre ktorých to už začína byť rovnako veľmi náročné. Veríme preto, že vďaka dobrým a láskavým ľuďom sa nám podarí získať suma potrebná na Norov boj s rakovinou, za čo Vám – darcom – vopred veľmi pekne ďakujeme.
We—the team from the District Court of Trebišov—have decided to launch this campaign to help our friend and colleague, Norbert Pavko, who has been undergoing intensive cancer treatment since January 2024.
None of us can imagine the pain that the Pavko family is going through, nor the fear and uncertainty about what the future holds for them. With this appeal, we hope to alleviate their difficult situation at least a little.
Noro is our colleague and friend. He is 34 years old, married, and has a wife, Vierka, and two young children: 12-year-old Adam and 3-year-old Noemi.
At the end of last year, he was diagnosed with an exceptionally aggressive form of pancreatic cancer. He underwent surgery to remove part of his pancreas, followed by intensive cancer
treatment. After a brief period when it seemed his condition was slightly improving, unfortunately, new findings appeared in the abdominal cavity, making surgery currently impossible.
Slovak doctors are gradually running out of options for treating Noro's cancer, and they have therefore recommended an experimental treatment abroad that involves creating a medication from his own biological material. However, this treatment is expensive and not covered by Slovak health insurance.
This therapy could significantly improve Norbert's quality of life, allowing him to spend time at home with his family and lead as long and as normal a life as possible for a young person.
The funds raised will be used to pay for the experimental treatment, which costs €8,000 for the initial phase and then €6,000 each month thereafter. If we manage to raise the entire target amount, or if, for any reason, this treatment cannot continue, the remaining funds will help the young family cover other expenses, such as housing costs, mortgage payments, special dietary needs for Norbert and Noemi (who has various food intolerances), medication, regular travel to the hospital, and many other costs associated with Noro’s treatment.
Since Noro has been on long-term sick leave and his wife Vierka is on parental leave, they are primarily supported by his parents, which is becoming increasingly difficult for them as well. We believe that, thanks to the generosity and kindness of people, we will be able to raise the amount needed for Noro's fight against cancer, for which we thank you – the donors – in advance.
