Whom do we help? Children who want but can't …..
„I love working with them, because they want…“ – says Zuzka, a passionate volunteer, a teacher by profession. The number of children interested in dance, guitar, singing and theater has increased to 30 within 3 months, but we are limited because of number of lectors and lack of space.
e.g. Števo – a normal teenager, who despite his difficult childhood and speech impediment sings with whole body, with each muscle on his face. By the way, he is a perfect dancer, knows how to play the guitar, even the bass guitar, he also plays the drums. Music is his life: he feels relaxed, smiling, enthusiastic, is full of homour – a showman. It is visible that he is talented, but has no opportunities to develop his talent… He is a young man without pretence; he is thankful, respectful, willing to take a part in each activity our centre offers if he doesn't have to do some man work at that time.…
Who is asking for Your joint authorship?
We are a group of enthusiastic volunteers who under abbreviation PAMOZ are trying to promote culture and enlightment in Muráň. The village itself is well-known because of Slovak National park Muránska planina. But this National park is situated in one of the least-developed regions in Slovakia. Turists are welcomed here by groups of Roma people standing on public square, because they have nothing to do: men, women, children. They have no work, even the perspective of better life.
But we believe, that the change is possible! Through promotion and developing of talents and creativity we offer the youth an alternative towards boredom and a chance to get out of generational poverty.
Behind each face there is a strong story. That makes us seek for Your grant with help of Renovabis foundation, who double your grant (until 10000 €). A huge THANK YOU to you and your foundation in advance!

You help to achieve success even with sharing this campaign. What does your financial help specifically mean?
- 10,- € pay one lesson of theater/singing,
- 12,- € is gross earnings for one guitar lesson, including space, musical instruments and other teaching aids,
- 30,- € covers performance fee for one lesson of dance and travelling expences,
- 60,- € dress one dancer of our 20-member ensemble into a Roma traditonal costume,
- 120,- € represent one third of sound system,
- 300,- € can help 10 children to fulfill their dream – a summer camp in our twin-town Jarovnice,
- 500,- € make it children easier to read lyrics through digital motion projector,
- 1000,- € help us to complete the number of musical instruments.
If we don't succeed in gathering enough money, our program will be accessible just for few children, and in addition, we will have to back away from our other plans :(
On the contrary, the amount of 10.000,- and more represents:
- wide arms,
- bigger chance for project sustainability,
- preparation of the most talented ones for study at music and dancing schools,
- thinking of building reconstruction, where we could have own space for our activities…
