Who organizes the campaign?/Kto kampaň organizuje?
We are a small group of volunteers from west of Slovakia formed at the beggining of war operating on a small scale with no bureaucracy. Although we did not know each other before, the need for transport and shelter that put us together at first has evolved into more and more projects. We want to keep helping especially now in the cold weather but eventually ran out of friends of friends' money, clothes and fridges and need some funds.
Sme malá neformálna skupina, ktorá pomáha Ukrajinkám v Trenčíne a okolí. Spojila nás pomoc s prepravou a ubytovaním utečencov z hranice, a aj keď sme sa dovtedy nepoznali, vznikla nám tu celkom dobrá partička a pomáhame ďalej. Radi by sme pokračovali v našich projektoch, obzvlášť teraz, v zime, no došli nám zdroje, peniaze, chladničky a oblečenie od kamošov.
Who will we help?/Komu pomôžeme?
We supply Ukrainian women, children and students of the most vulnerable group that isn't employed with basic food and hygiene products. We also send material to Ukraine. Most of the time we deal with ad hoc requests, network it out and keep the little good deeds in motion. We helped organise an exhibition of a ukrainian artist in our town and started an inclusive theater group that will perform a play soon.
Zásobujeme základnými potravinami a hygienou ukrajinské ženy, deti a študentov z najzraniteľnejšej skupiny bez možnosti zárobku. Tiež posielame materiál na Ukrajinu. Väčšinu času riešime najakútnejšie požiadavky, sieťujeme a posielame malé dobré skutky ďalej. Pomohli sme zorganizovať výstavu ukrajinskej umelkyne Olgy Wilson a založili inkluzívnu divadelnú skupinu Inklúč, ktorá onedlho odohrá premiéru svojej hry.
What will we use the money for?/Načo použijeme peniaze?
- Basic food that keeps well like buckwheat, pasta, canned fish, oil. We get potatoes and carrots from a sponsor for free now!
- Diapers, baby food, towels, shower gel, washing powder
- Shoes; we don't buy clothes, there is enough on the planet, we get it from friends
- Help finding accomodation and work, still a big issue and very time consuming
- Ad hoc material, mostly supplied by friends, but some things we have to buy and it makes peoples lifes so much better in a foreign country to get help with random needs
- Material to send to Ukraine (as needed)
We opt for the cheapest and most sustainable material.
- Základné trvanlivé potraviny ako pohánka, cestoviny, konzervy, olej. Zemiaky a mrkvu už dostávame pravidelne od sponzora!
- Topánky; oblečenie nenakupujeme, je ho na tejto planéte dosť
- Pomoc s hľadaním ubytovania a práce, stále veľmi potrebné a veľký žrút času
- Najrôznejšie súrne veci riešime cez kamarátov, niektoré veci však treba kúpiť a veľmi to pomôže, ak v cudzej krajine získate pomocnú ruku s rôznymi potrebami
- Veci, ktoré treba urgentne posielať na Ukrajinu (podľa situácie)
Nakupujeme rozumne a udržateľne.
