Let me to introduce myself. My name is Tim, I am 14 years old and I come from Levice city of Slovak republic. I have loved hockey since I was 4 years old, and I still do it today. I am even a graduate of
the first hockey kindergarten in Slovakia. Hockey is my passion and whole life in one. According to people around me, I earned the nickname „exceptional“ due to my modesty and extreme hard
work (trust me, I don't see myself that way :D). But that's how teammates, hockey coaches, and parents from around know me. I play as a defender, I don't score goals, but I do everything so that
we don't get them :).
Like every hockey enthusiast, I always dreamed of the opportunity to go abroad. I would like to capitalize on the years of conscientious work, sacrifices, early morning waking-up and pains that I dedicated to this passion. One day the parents received a phone call from our coach that this dream could soon become a reality. His words carried a message about the opportunity to go to the Finnish Junior Hockey League, where he was able to create an opportunity for me to show what I know in a highly competitive foreign environment. I would like to continue to play hockey with dedication and heart as before, but in better conditions. I started writing these words with little soul but great determination on the way home after a series of successful try-outs in Finnish clubs. A positive response came from each of them, so Finland is within reach! According to the information from the chosen club, I will play for the Assat team in the city of Pori for the next 3 years, where I will also study.
However, there is one catch, and that is, of course, finances. I am one of 3 siblings, where my older brother also plays hockey – he is a hockey goalkeeper, which is also not the cheapest fun :) Believe
me. So my parents really have a lot to do to cover all expenses.

Why me?
I know that there are many more important crowdfuding campaigns with a „deeper“ message than mine going on online. On the other hand, I believe in the enormous power of this campaign and that, at least in part, I will find people who are willing to share and contribute to this „little-big dream“. Surely, even in this environment, my contribution will come across more than one athlete with a big heart who will understand my dream. After all, it will not be easy to leave the world from my parents at this age, but I am firmly determined that I really want it this way, and my parents gave me the green to udnergo! For you it' a small thing, but for me it' just a small step towards achieving my big goals, behind which there is so much sacrifice and dedication. I am constantly hard working on myself beyond training. During the season, I voluntarily get up at 4:00 a.m. so that I can constantly push my limits.
My hockey story began in HC Levice, where I was also the team captain for the last 2 years. However, I was also lucky enough to be noticed by the exceptional coach of the organization Slovak Vampires, in which I have been working since its foundation until today. Thanks to his trust, I got the opportunity to participate in the best tournaments around the world (Philadelphia, Riga, Prague,
Budapest) also under the organisation of the SHD group (Slovak hockey development at WSI tournaments). I would also like to mention a few nominations for national team matches in the U15
category.
How do I use your financial support?
If you've read this far, you've probably assumed that every single one of your contributions will be used for the expenses associated with the hockey season in Finland. These include club fees, equipment, accommodation and considerable travel costs. I really appreciate your time reading as well as each and every even small financial support.
Thank you in advance,
Tim
