I Would like to kindly ask for financial support for my daughter, Alexandra Mrázková, who is actively involved in canoe slalom. She is 12 years old and is considered one of the promising young talents in Slovakia. She competes in both the kayak and canoe categories. Alexandra is a member of ŠKP Bratislava – Canoe Slalom and Downriver Division and is currently preparing for a series of competitions including the Slovak Cup, the ECA Junior Slalom Cup, the Slovak Youth Championships, and the Slovak Junior Championships.
However, as performance increases, so do the costs – for training, participation in competitions, travel, equipment (boat, paddle, helmet, vest, wetsuit), as well as for recovery and healthcare.“
I try to support Alexandra the best I can, but as a mother of two daughters and a single parent, I face financial limitations. At the moment, I am repaying a mortgage on our home, which will continue for another 19 years. I have been working as a physiotherapist at a rehabilitation center for approximately 25 years, specializing in therapy for babies and children with various diagnoses. My work is fulfilling, even though it is not financially rewarding. Despite my efforts, it is challenging to cover all the expenses related to Alexandra’s athletic development.

Who are we helping?
Alexandra has been involved in sports since early childhood. She participated in her first competition in Dolný Kubín at the age of 4. Since the age of eight, she has been training in whitewater slalom in Čunovo.
Over the years, she has earned several awards. Among them, I would like to highlight the most significant ones from the year 2024.

How are we planning to use the funds?
Alexandra has gradually outgrown her current equipment and now most urgently needs a new, high-quality boat. The price of such a boat is around 3,000 euros. Unfortunately, the sports club she is a member of, due to their current financial situation, cannot provide support for securing and purchasing a boat of the appropriate size, so we are looking for other ways to obtain funding.
Since Alexandra competes in both kayak and canoe categories, this means two separate boats, which represents significant financial costs.
Even partial support to purchase at least one boat would be very helpful and would significantly contribute to her further athletic development and success.
Your financial support would directly help secure this necessary equipment and enable Alexandra to continue improving and developing her skills and abilities.
